All of these quotes back up the fact that the US government does the bare minimum for teens and adults alike when in need of help for a mental illness. Over the years teens have been misdiagnosed because there aren't enough people with M.D’s who are willing. Though the money being out into mental illnesses in the US are increasing each year it isn’t enough. So many people under medicaid aren’t getting the help they need and deserve. The money is unorganized and isn’t going to the right departments or to everyone who is requesting it. Most of the money goes to inhousing patients at hospitals but barely nothing for teens and others with low incomes.
